Company: Callann Work Winning Specialists

Version: 1.0
Last reviewed: 17.03.2026

Introduction

Callann Work Winning Specialists is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking both directly within our business and within supply chains. Modern slavery and human trafficking refer to the exploitation of people for commercial gain. This policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. We aim to implement and maintain effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere within our organisation or wider supply chain.

Our Approach
As part of our commitment to identifying and mitigating risks relating to modern slavery, we take the following steps:

  • Where possible, we build long-standing relationships with local suppliers and partners and clearly communicate our expectations regarding ethical business practices. This includes reviewing of all supply chain policies related to this matter and ensuring they align with our expectations.
  • When working with national suppliers, we prefer to engage with UK-based companies or UK branches of international organisations, and we expect these organisations to maintain appropriate anti-slavery and human trafficking policies and procedures.
  • We encourage our suppliers to undertake appropriate due diligence within their own supply chains to ensure similar standards are upheld further down the supply chain.
  • We maintain systems and procedures that encourage the reporting of concerns and support the protection of whistleblowers.

Zero Tolerance
Callann Work Winning Specialists has zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect all suppliers, contractors and partners working with us to uphold the same standards and values. Where this standard is not met, we are committed to severing all relationships and reporting through the appropriate next steps.

Responsibility
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy rests with the company directors, who oversee supplier relationships and ensure appropriate standards are maintained. The individual responsible for assessing matters relating to modern slavery and human trafficking within the business is: Claire Bryce – Managing Director

Awareness and Training
To ensure an appropriate level of awareness, relevant staff members are provided with guidance on the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within business operations and supply chains. Directors have also been briefed on the requirements of this policy and the responsibilities associated with it.

Monitoring and Effectiveness
We use the following measures to assess the effectiveness of our efforts to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains:

  • Completion of internal audits and management system reviews
  • Monitoring of labour and payroll systems where applicable
  • Ongoing communication with suppliers and partners regarding compliance with our ethical expectations

Legal Context

Although Callann Work Winning Specialists is not currently required to publish a formal statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to company size and turnover thresholds, we voluntarily adopt this policy as part of our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices.
