When NZFM decided to target business-critical frameworks, they approached CALLANN for support. The priority was not just to “write a tender”, but to build a repeatable, evidence-based approach that could be used across multiple bids in the same format, without creating unnecessary cost or burden for their team.

During the initial conversations we reviewed NZFM’s pipeline and quickly identified that many of the upcoming opportunities would follow a similar structure through a national framework provider. We agreed the most cost-effective and efficient approach: create strong core content that was tailored to NZFM’s offer, written in an evaluator-friendly way, and designed to be adapted quickly for future call-offs.

The first engagement included two fast-turnaround tenders for local housing associations delivered via the framework. This required CALLANN to learn quickly. NZFM’s service model is specialist, and the success of each submission depended on capturing the unique value of their approach and making sure it was embedded throughout the response, not added as an afterthought. We worked closely with NZFM to understand what genuinely differentiates them, then ensured those points were consistently reflected across the method statements, added value, compliance and delivery sections so the submission read as clear, credible, and easy to score.

NZFM secured both initial contracts. More importantly, the content created during that first phase became a strong foundation for repeat success. NZFM has since used and adapted the same evidence-led content to successfully bid for and secure a further [insert number] contracts with other housing associations, strengthening their position and speeding up future submissions.

Building on that momentum, CALLANN then supported NZFM on a major national framework which was business critical. Our role was to maintain pace and quality under pressure, keep the responses aligned to the scoring criteria, and ensure the submission reflected NZFM’s specialist offer consistently across every section.
